South Eastern Geriatricians

South Eastern Geriatricians is a group of Geriatricians in Melbourne operating under the umbrella of South Eastern Specialist Centre, dedicated to provide quality aged care specialist services to the residents of nursing homes without any additional out-of-pocket costs (Bulk-Billed).

We aim to provide continuity of care to the geriatric population without having them to wait for longer periods of time. We endeavour to provide consultation within a week of receiving the initial referral.
We actively believe in an integrated model of care incorporating effective communication with the GPs, families, nursing staff and allied health care workers to complete the diagnosis and develop a care plan.

Our Geriatricians are active promoters of holistic approach towards treatment and are willing to educate RACF staff regarding management plan of the patient.
In addition to nursing home visits, our Geriatricians perform assessments in the consulting suites at South Eastern Specialist Centre, however, that might incur a small gap fee.
