Dr Varun possesses extensive experience in delivering treatment for a variety of psychiatric conditions, such as psychotic disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as perinatal depression and anxiety. His approach to care considers a comprehensive biopsychosocial, cultural, and spiritual framework that aids in understanding an individual’s lived experience, the complexity of their relationships, systemic factors, and how these elements influence mental health and recovery. This enables him to adopt inclusive and patient-centred approaches that support patient recovery. His clinical practice is guided by evidence-based treatment modalities, encompassing pharmacological therapies, psychological interventions, and other emerging treatment strategies.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, he is dedicated to reading, travelling, and practising meditation.
